The OMG almond croissants. She likes it.

Someone brought Zinger some almond croissants from Jean Philippe bakery inside Bellagio in Las Vegas.  Zinger has heard some good things about JP bakery and was very eager to try the croissants.  So when the croissants arrived, she left her warm cozy room upstair and rode her pillow to the the cold kitchen downstair to eat the croissants. ( Zinger usually doesn't come to the kitchen because it's very cold downstair. )  OMG these almond croissants are the best croissants she has ever had. They are so flaky and the fillings are out of this world. Very buttery pastry and buttery sweet fillings.  Zinger savored every bite of the croissant.  Zinger was so happy that she did a pillow dance and then flapped her flappers as she went back to her room.  She likes it.

Expired white elephant gift. She doesn't like it.

Zinger went to a white elephan gift exchange party. She ended up with 3 pounds of gingerbread cookies packed inside a nice looking house. Zinger was very excited because the house is cute and there are 3 pounds of gingerbread cookies dipped in white chocolate.  Then she found out that there is a white label on the bottom of the house that says "Exp 08/xx/2008".   The gift is from last year!!!!   And it has been sitting in someone's house for a whole year!!!  Zinger got someone's unwanted trash!!! She doesn't like it. 

Stan's Donuts. She likes it.

Zinger got a delivery of Stan's Donuts today. Stan's donuts are the best donuts. They are big and soft and the glaze is very good.  They are Zinger's favorite donuts.  They are especially good for the cold weather this week.  Eating sweets helps Zinger keep her cylinder warm.  She likes it.

Not so fresh pillow case. She doesn't like it.

Zinger has a pillow case that she wears over her UA Tech sweatshirt.  It is all wrinkled. And she sniffed at it and it doesn't  smell very fresh.  Must be from all the dirty hands that patted her. Yeeeew!!!  She wants it washed and ironed.  She doesn't like it. 

Happy Donuts 2 x 2. She likes it.

It has been very cold the last few days. Zinger needs to eat lots of sweets to keep her cylinder warm.  Wish granted, she got 4 donuts yesterday. Two glazed raised and 2 choclate raised. And they are from one of her favorite donut shops, Happy Donuts. This is Happy Donuts in Menlo Park. Zinger devoured two donuts right away. Hmm...... heavenly sweet and good. She likes it. 

Gingerbread house. She likes it.

Zinger got a gingerbread house. She invited Henry over to decorate it.  Look at this lovely little  gingerbread house.  It's colorful and lively. And it looks very yummy. Zinger likes it. 

Vasy's Donuts. She likes it.

Zinger had some Vasy's Donuts ( Fremont, CA ) today. Zinger tried the chocolate bar. The bar is pretty thick, which Zinger likes. The dough is soft and has good flavor. Because the bar is thick, so Zinger can really taste the pillowy dough ( Raised donuts that have pillowy dough is a good thing) . It has a nice thick chocolate frosting. Zinger likes it. The bar costs $0.80 and is bigger than average size. This is good value. Zinger didnt' try the buttermilk donut but she approves. The buttermilk donut is crunchy on the outside and has a nice buttermilk flavor. Vasy's raised donuts. She likes it.

Very good gingerbread cookie. She likes it.

Zinger likes looking at her cute gingerbread people, but she likes eating them too.  When Zinger opened her box of gingerbread people, she found one of them was broken in half.  So she ate that one first.  Wow, this gingerbread is so good.  It has good texture and flavor. She still has 2 gingerbread people left. ( She was nice to give one away.)  She likes it.  

Poked in the face. She doesn't like it.

Zinger was resting on her pillow at night. She was thinking about what sweets she will eat in the morning. Then she heard the alarm clock chimes. And suddenly a hand reached across her face and fingers poked in her face. Ouch!!  That really hurts. Not only her face hurts, the fur on her face was messed up also.  She expected that she would get some donuts to help ease the pain she suffered.  But no donuts. No stickybuns. She received no sweets as compensations. She doesn't like it. 

Gingerbread people. She likes it.

It's holidays season. Zinger always looks forward to this time of the year because she knows there are a lot of sweets around. Yesterday, Zinger got 4 Gingerbread people. They are so cute, with big smiles like Zinger. She hasn't eaten them yet because she likes looking at them. She likes it. 

Happy donut foursome. She likes it.

Zinger loves donuts.  And she got 4 donuts from Happy Donuts. Happy Donuts is the only donut shop she knows that makes raised donuts with chocolate dough. The donuts are soft, pillowy and good. The glaze on the donuts are very good, just the way Zinger likes it.  Hmm, which donut should she eat first?  She will eat all four in one mouthful. She likes it. 

Mao on handbag. She doesn't like it.

Kidrobot makes a collection of handbags with the pattern "Toy pile-up". When Zinger first spotted the handbags from a distance, she thought the bags look interesting. But when she got closer, she noticed the "Mao" on the bag. She doesn't like Mao. Mao on handbag. She doesn't like it.

Prop. 8 passed. She doesn't like it.

Proposition 8 passed. Zinger believes in equal opportunity for all, regardless of your color, sex, shape, and size. Zinger believes that a square can marry a round. Oval can marry triangle. Cube can marry pyramid. Zinger doesn't like it.

Pan de Muerto. Zinger likes it.

"Día de los Muertos" (Day of the dead) was last Friday. To celebrate this day. Zinger got "Pan de Muerto" ( bread of the dead). Zinger's Pan de Muerto is about 16" tall. It is a sweet bread. Zinger likes it.

"Cable Box" blocking score. She doesn't like it.

NBA season started and Zinger likes to watch the Warriors. Tonight she was watching Warriors' first game of the season against the Hornets. But she could not see the score on the upper left corner of the screen clearly because "Cable Box" blocked the score. How come the "Cable Box" doesn't disappear? It was on the whole time. Could not see score and Warriors lost. She doesn't like it.

Living stone plants. She likes it.

Monkichi got some new plants. They are a type of cactus called Living Stones. They are shaped like kidneys and look like stones. They bloom in the spring and early fall. Aren't they interesting? Zinger likes it.

Lawn has fungi infection. She doesn't like it.

The front lawn got infected with fungi. The infection is very aggresive. Overnight, the mushrooms sprouted. The night before, you don't see them. The next day, they are all over the lawn. Zinger doesn't want to get a letter from Al. She doesn like it.

Good Ling Ling Chicken dumplings. She likes it.

When you are hungry for some hearty meal, just boil some Ling Ling chicken dumplings. They are easy to make and they taste pretty good. Zinger approves of the dumplings and they have no MSG. She likes it.

Playing Wii Batman 24/7. Zinger likes it.

Zinger has been playing Wii Lego Batman for days since she started. The Lego characters are so cute. One of her favorite moves is to have Batman set the bomb to explode up objects. She also likes that Robin walks on the tightrope but Batman crawls. Zinger could play the game for days without stopping, other than to take breaks to eat some sweets. It's an addictive game and Zinger likes it.

The wait is over for Batman and DDR. She likes it.

Today was a good day for Zinger. She finally got the Wii Batman and the DDR Hottest Party2 games that she has been waiting for. She was so ecstatic that she flapped her flappers for a couple of hours. She was ready to fight her way through Gotham City and then dance all night long. She likes it.

Organic Keitt mango. She likes it.

WF sells organic Keitt mangos. They are bigger than average size mangos. Zinger got one that weighed 2.75lb. The mango is super sweet. It doesn't have fiber and powdery taste. Very very good. She likes it.

Big almond pastry. She likes it and she doesn't like it.

Zinger got a big almond pastry from Paris Baguette. It is one big pastry the size of her face. It's so big that she likes it. When she tried it, it was not sweet. She doesn't like it. Big size, She likes it. Not sweet, she doesn't like it.

Delicious Napolean. She likes it.

Zinger got a Napoleon from a bakery in Los Gatos today. It is one big piece of Napoleon with sweet cream and very flaky crusts. It was so good. Zinger really likes it.

No stickybuns from S.F. Farmer's Market. She doesn't like it.

Someone who knows that Zinger's likes Downtown Bakery's Stickybuns went to S.F. Farmer's Market today. Downtown Bakery has a stand there. So Zinger was very happy thinking that someone will bring back the stickybuns from S.F.. But to her disappointment, no stickybuns were brought back. She doesn't like it.

No Wii Batman Lego game. She doesn't like it.

Zinger wants the new Wii Batman Lego game. She is waiting for someone to get it for her. Costco sells it at a discount but still nobody got the game. She is waiting. She doesn't like it.

Andronico's stickybun is good. She likes it.

Zinger got an Andonrico's pecan stickybun and it was sweet and sticky. Zinger said it was very good. She likes it.

TJS buttermilk biscuit. She likes it.

TJS sells frozen buttermilk biscuit that you can bake at home. Over the weekend. Cousins made some of these biscuits and they were very tasty. Especially when they were hot. Zinger ate the biscuits with butter, strawberry jam and whipped cream. They were super good. Zinger is not sure why those biscuits shrunk when they cooled. Good flaky biscuits. She likes it.

Savemart donuts. She doesn't like it.

Today, someone got some savemart donuts ( buttermilk and cinnamon swirl ). Zinger tried both. The donuts do not have very good flavor and the texture is not soft and chewy. The sugar coating does not taste good either. She took one bite out of each donut and that was all she could eat. She doesn't like it.

Paris Baguette pastries. She likes it.

Zinger has been waiting for Paris Baguette pastries ever since she found out about this new bakery yesterday. And the wait is over. By special delivery, Zinger got some Paris Baguette pastries tonight. Zinger couldn't wait to eat the sweet pastries. Yum, yum sweet pastries. Zinger likes it.

Waiting to visit Paris Baguette Bakery. She doesn't like it.

Sunday early morning around 1AM, someone sent an email to Zinger's iPhone that there is a new Korean Bakery in Santa Clara. And that they have good pastries and bread. Zinger loves to eat sweets so she wanted to visit the bakery on Sunday. But nobody took her there. She waited and waited. Still no shuttle to the bakery. She doesn't like it.

Concaved belly. She doesn't like it.

Zinger hasn't had a physical in a while. So she had an exam to make sure that her cylinder is healthy and looks good. The exam results showed that her belly is concaved in. There is a groove on her belly. This is due to the blanket she parks on that is too short and digs into her belly. In order to maker her cylinder better, she needs to be massaged to make her cylinder smooth and even throughout the length. Her blanket also needs to be adjusted and mesaured so that it perfectly aligns with her cylinder. Her cylinder weight should be distributed evenly on the blanket. No perfect cylinder. She doesn't like it.

Wii Outdoor Challenge is fun. She likes it.

More than 30 hours after Zinger received the game from Amazon, she finally got to play it. Zinger was running and jumping on the mat. She really exercised all 4 flappers and worked up a sweat.  But thanks to the UA heat gear she had on, she stayed dry throughout the game.  Zinger really enjoyed playing all the different games. She likes it.

Ding dong!!  Zinger looked out of the window and saw the mail truck outside. She hurried to the front door and opened the door. There it is. Amazon box sitting on the front porch. Wii Outdoor Challenge is finally here.  The wait is over and she can play it this weekend. She likes it. 

No Wii Outdoor Challenge yet. She doesn't like it.

Zinger ordered Wii Outdoor Challenge game from Amazon last Friday.  They have not shipped the game yet. Looks like Zinger won't be able to play it this weekend. She doesn't like it. 

Finally, someone left a comment. She likes it.

Zinger has been waiting for someone to leave a comment on her blog. Finally, Josh did. She likes it. And Josh is from Hawaii.  Even better. She likes it. 

No Homemaid Manju. She doesn't like it.

Homemaid bakery in Maui opened a new retail outlet next to Maui Coffee Roasters. Zinger wants to try Homemaid manju and other sweet stuff they have. But since she didn't get to go to Maui, so no Homemaid sweets for her. She doesn't like it. 

Missing tow hitch cover. She doesn't like it.

Zinger's car Zinger has a tow hitch. And it has a cover. But the cover is missing. She doesn't like it. 

7-eleven Meat Jun w/spicy chicken bento box. She likes it.

Zinger likes 7-eleven in Hawaii because they sell musubis, sushi rolls and hot bentos. She likes meat jun and the spicey chicken bento. She also likes the scrambled eggs with portugese sausages. She doesn't really eat these because she only eats sweets. But she approves of them. Flappers up to 7-eleven. She likes it. 

New Wireless Mouse. She likes it.

Zinger just received a new wireless USB mouse. The USB reciever is very slim (1/4") and does not stick out of the laptop. And it works very well. Cut and paste operation is good. She likes it.  

Lips not fixed. She doesn't like it.

Zinger likes to be well groomed. She likes her lips clean and no fur covering her lips. So periodically she gets her lips fixed. It has been a while since her lips were fixed. So she requested a lip fix. She waited and waited and waited. But nobody fixed her lips. She doesn't like it. 

WF stickybun. She likes it.

Zinger got a WF stickybun yesterday. It was sticky, sweet and flaky. Just the way a stickybun should be. She likes it.

No ticket to Hawaii. She doesn't like it.

Zinger has been wanting to go to Hawaii for a while. She wants to go pillow boarding there in Maui. So she asked to book a ticket to go there a couple of weeks ago. So she had packed her luggage and her pillow board and all ready to go. She was waiting. And waiting. Then yesterday, she found out the bad news that nobody booked her a ticket so she cannot go. She was very disappointed. She dosn't like it.

No Zinger'd. She doesn't like it.

Zinger was waiting for Zinger'd from Noe Valley Bakery. But it turned out that nobody went to Noe Valley. It was a miscommunication.  She doesn't like it.

Hot!! Fan in the box. She doesn't like it.

This has been a very hot week.  Zinger likes the fan on and blow cool air to her butt. She likes to keep her hot-looking butt cool.  It's hot today!! And there is a brand new fan sitting there. But the fan is not on. Because it is still in the box!!!!  Why can't someone open the box and plug it in and and turn it on??? Hot day and no fan. She doesn't like it. 

Still hasn't tried Zinger'd. She doesn't like it.

Zinger heard that someone went to Noe Valley today.  Noe Valley Bakery sells a cup cake Zinger'd. The cup cake is named after Zinger. Eventhough it is named after Zinger, but Zinger has never tried it before. She is waiting for someone to bring back a Zinger'd today. She is waiting. She doesn't like it. 

Jeans belt loop chafing skin. She doesn't like it.

Zinger has recently learned that if you do all of the following:

1) wear jeans with belt loops.

2) wear a belt.

3) carry a backpack.

4) running to catch a bus.

All of the above will result in the belt loop chafing skin on your back and cause open sore. This is because the bottom of the backpack rub against the belt on the back as you run. This pushes the belt loop against your skin.  And this rubbing on the skin causes an open sore.   

And if you repeate the above 4 items with different pair of jeans, then you will get another open sore at a different location because the belt loop location is different. She doesn't like it. 

Ghosts. She doesn't like it.

Zinger doesn't like ghosts. Halloween is less than 2 months away, so she got her ghost-buster shirt out from her closet. She is wearing it so no ghosts can come near her. She doesn't want any ghost to sneak up on her back and scare her. Ghosts on her back. She doesn't like it.

Flaky glazed donuts. She likes it.

Both 7-eleven and Napoleon Bakery in Hawaii sell these flakey double knot shaped donuts. She likes the glazed kind. They are so sweet and good. She can eat a dozen of them in one sitting. She likes it.

7-eleven shoyu tuna roll. She likes it.

7-eleven in Hawaii sells all kinds of musubi and sushi rolls. Zinger likes them all. Her favorite are the sushi rolls. The wasabi salmon and shoyu tuna are so good. Although she doesn't eat them but she approves of them and she knows they are really good. She likes it.

Champion Malasadas. She doesn't like it.

Champion Malasads claims their malasadas are simply the best. Well, Zinger doesn't think so. Champion malasads tastes oily, too yeasty and the dough doesn't have very good flavor. She doesn't like it.

Creme Brulee. She likes it.

Zinger had freshly baked creme brulee. It was sweet and good. And it came in a nice ramekin. She likes it.

Hot Malasadas. She likes it and she doesn't like it.

Zinger likes looking at pictures of fresh malasadas.
She likes it. But malasadas without sugar. She doesn't like it.

TJS Creme Brulee. She likes it.

Someone nice bought TJS Creme Brulee. She like it. It is in the freezer now. She is looking forward to eating it. She likes it.

Ted's Bakery. She like it.

Cinnamon bun from North Shore Ted's Bakery. Sweet cinnamon roll. She likes it.

No Sugar on Leonard's Malasads. She doesn't like it.

Zinger knows some people went to Leonard's and got some malasadas and request no sugar on the malasadas. How can you order malasadas without any sugar? Why ruin a perfect Leonard's malasadas with no sugar. A malasadas without sugar is like wearing a tuxedo without a bow tie. In Zinger's book, there is no such thing as malasadas without sugar. She doesn't like it.

Waiting for Creme Brulees. She doesn't like it.

Zinger wants to eat creme brulees. The sweet rich creme brulees with burned sugar on the top. She knows Trader Joes has frozen raspberry creme brulees imported from France. She is waiting. Can someone please get some of those creme brulees for Zinger? She is waiting. She doesn't like it.

Missing Mi Pueblo burrito. She doesn't like it.

Zinger found out that someone took Mi Pueblo burrito from the fridge. Only an empty paper bag inside the plastic bag left in the fridge. Where is the delicious burrito? She doesn't like it.

No malasadas. She doesn't like it.

Zinger has cravings for good sweet malasadas. Where can she get malasadas in the Bay Area? She likes the fresh made malasadas with sweet guava, strawberry, and banana fillings. And dusted with lots of sugar on the outside. She likes Leonard's malasadas in honolulu. She can't find good malasadas here in Bay Area. She doesn't like it.

Playing at Monkey Bar. She likes it.

Cousins have been working very hard. Day and night to make money to help make up the money they lost in the stock market. They are bakers by day and play gigs at clubs at night. They and their cousin Monkichi have formed a band "Monkichi and the Cousins". They are 3 very talented monkeys. Sometimes Zinger joined them as the bass guitar player. Zinger has been practicing her guitar on Rockband and is getting better every time she played Rockband. Last night, Monkichi and the Cousins with/Zinger played at Monkey Bar. The crowd went wild when they heard them. Especially when they played Human League's Fascination, they brought down the house. Zinger was so excited. She likes it.

Dollar Rent A Car. She doesn't like it.

Dollar Rent A Car sent a letter to collect $252.30 for the damage to the windshield of the rental car rented in Dallas last month. They claimed there was a chip on the windshiled. The cost includes $35 for esteimate cost and $50 adminstration fee. And if you pay within 5 days, they will waive the $50 administration fee. What is this? Dollar mafia? She doesn't like it.

HB general manager called back. She likes it

Zinger got a call from the General Manger at HB in Milpitas today. He called to asked about the bad dining experience at HB last Friday night. He apologized for not having the 2 advertised items: pot roast and fried shrimps. He wants Zinger to be a happy customer and come back and dine again. So he offered 2 free dinners at HB. Zinger is happy that the manager really does care about his customers and wants them to enjoy eating at HB. Zinger likes it.

WF stickybun. She likes it.

Someone very nice (unlike someone else who was at WF the other day and didn't get her the stickybun) finally heard Zinger's repeated request and brought her a WF stickybun. After a session on Rockband, Zinger was ready to eat her stickybun. Zinger parked very high on the couch's back to admire her stickybun sitting across the room on the kitchen counter. She likes to look at her stickybun before eating it. It was so sticky and flaky, just the way Zinger likes. Zinger ate her stickybun and was all smile. She is ready for another one, maybe some donuts also. She likes it.

Rockband rocks!!! She likes it.

Zinger's Rockband was finally setup and hooked Sunday afternoon after much waiting and flapping. She couldn't wait to put her flappers on the Fender Guitar and the drumsticks and start jamming. But there was a guest in the house this afternoon. It's a 6-year old boy. He was hogging the drumset most of time. And since nobody really knew how to play it and was just guessing how the game should be played. And nobody was good. Couldn't even finish the song before getting booed by the audience. Zinger knew how to play it but nobody listened to her. And so she waited patiently for her turn. She waited and waited. She didn't like it but she was being nice and waited. Finally after all the guests left the house, she had a chance to play it. She was ready. She had her 2 flappers on the guitar and the other 2 flappers on the drums. She was really good. She played at the expert level. 4 flappers up. She likes it.

Rockband is here. She likes it.

Cannot play Rockband. She doesn't like it.

Zinger finally got her Rockband for PS3. She had waited so long for it and it is finally here. She is so excited that she was flapping her flappers all day. But nobody helped her set it up. She stared at the box in front of her all afternoon and could not play it. She flapped her flappers all night but still nobody helped her set it up. Rockband is here and she can't play it. She doesnt like it.

No Stan's donuts. She doesn't like it

It's Friday!!! So that means Mr. T sometimes goes to Stan's on the way to work and get some big fluffy doughy donuts that Zinger likes. Zinger has not had Stan's for ages. Too long to even remember when the last time she had it. And since she has not had any donuts from anywhere ( please, no Safeway donuts ) for weeks, she really wants to eat some donuts. Then she found out that nobody saved any Stan's donuts for her. What?? How can anyone not save any donuts for Zinger knowing that she has been asking for donuts everyday for the last few months. She was waiting for donuts. She doesn't like it.

quadruple disappointments at HB. She doesn't like it.

Tonight's dinner was at HB because they supposedly have pot roast on Friday night, which Zinger likes, although she doesn't eat it. And plus the coupon deal, dinner for $5.99. Normally the dinner is $11.49. But tonight's dinner experience was just a total disaster. 1st, the coupon's deal is buy one dinner at regular price, get one for $5.99. Okay. so that's $19.82 for two dinners, not 2x$5.99 + tax. 2nd, they didn't have pot roast. It' is Friday right? Where is the pot roast? So they have steak and salmon. But Zinger wants to see pot roast. The Fork Tender Pot Roast that the advertised. And 3rd, what about fried shrimps. There was no sight of shrimps anywhere. The HB lady there said they had no pot roast and no fried shrimps? What is this? False advertisement to get customers to come and and serve cafeteria food for $9+ /person. And on top of that, 4th was the dinner roll? Zinger likes their hot sweet generously buttered pillowy soft dinner rolls. But the dinner roll was not hot, and it was NOT SOFT and was DRY!!!! Flappers down on HB tonight. Zinger doesn't like it.

Anchovie Pizza???!!!! She doesn't like it.

It's a nice day today. Zinger rode her pillow to Sanrio Park this morning. She saw a pink mini-bike parked there and she knew her friend Spottie was there. Spottie is very fashionable. (See picture on the left) She is a New Yorker. She chatted with spottie and it was almost lunch time. Spottie's sidekick Sassy brought a picnic basket. Hmm, Zinger was hungry. Maybe Sassy brought some sweets. Sassy opened the picnic basket, Pheeewwww.... What's that smell. Anchovie pizza!!!! Zinger doesn't like anchovie pizza. She hurried said good-bye to Spottie and Sassy and rode her pillow home. Zinger does not like fishy food. She doesn't like it.

New Mi Pueblo Food Center. She likes it.

Zinger heard that there is a new Mi Pueblo Food Center opening up at the corner of Capitol Ave. and McKee Road. She plans to ride her pillow there and check out the new store. She will check out their Taqueria and of course the Panaderia. Maybe they will have some very sweet pastries. She can sip some refreshing drinks like watermelon and pina colada. She likes it.

She is waiting for stickybuns. She doesn't like it.

Tomorrow, MG will go to Whole Foods. Zinger likes the stickybun rings that Whole Foods sells. So she is waiting for MG to bring some stickybun rings back for her. Zinger has not had stickybuns for a while. No donuts either. Zinger is waiting. She doesn't like waiting. She doesn't like it.

Sprinklers are working now. She likes it.

The sprinklers are working now!!!! All the front and back yard sprinkler heads all pop up. No more manual watering now. Zinger likes it.

Not sweet banana bread. She doesn't like it.

Cousins have been making banana bread for a customer. The customer likes Cousins' banana bread. Now this customer wants to place more order. The customer has some specific requests. One of them is to reduce the amount of sugar in the bread. Cousins have already cut the amount of sugar by 1/3. Now the customer wants even less sugar. The customer wants to cut the sugar by another 50%, so that means there is only 1/3 of the sugar in the original recipe. How can you have banana bread not sweet? That's insane!! Zinger likes her banana bread with a lot of sugar. 10 times the sugar in the original recipe. Zinger is so sweet. She doesn't understand why people don't want sugar in their bread. She doesn't like it.

Cannot watch Olympics on ch. 3. She doesn't like it.

Zinger likes watching Olympics. She has been watching it since Saturday. But for the last few evenings, she could not get channel 3 all the time. She doesn't like it. She called Comcast and was told to bring the set-top box to Comcast store for exchange. She doesn't like it.
